Our Commitment to Accessibility

Blitzz is committed to making its digital products and services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to provide an inclusive and accessible experience through our digital platform and associated services.

We continuously work to identify, address and reduce accessibility barriers. Our approach includes manual accessibility evaluations, automated testing, assistive technology testing, user testing where applicable, and ongoing improvements to our products and services.

This statement describes our general approach to accessibility and the measures we take to support an inclusive digital experience.

Accessibility Standards and Compatibility

We aim to make our digital platform conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Our platform is designed to support a range of assistive technologies and modern web browsers. Accessibility testing includes the following environments:

  • Windows: NVDA and JAWS screen readers with the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
  • macOS: VoiceOver screen reader with the latest version of Safari.

Our platform relies on web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA, to provide accessible content and interactions.

Internet Explorer is not supported. Compatibility with older browsers and assistive technology versions may vary.

How Accessible Is Our Platform?

We continuously work to improve the accessibility and usability of our digital platform. Although we aim to meet applicable accessibility standards, some parts of the platform may not yet be fully accessible.

Known limitations

Known accessibility limitations identified during testing may include:

  • Annotation toolbar buttons (such as Arrow and Rectangle) cannot be reached using the Tab or arrow keys.
  • Drawing feature is not accessible through tab/ arrow keys.
  • At 400% browser zoom, the banner region and footer region covers more than 80% of the page content.

We review identified issues and work to address them through ongoing improvements and updates.

The accessibility of a particular implementation may also depend on its configuration, content and documents provided by the organisation using the platform.

Accessibility Testing and Evaluation

Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility throughout the development and maintenance of our digital products and services.

Our accessibility evaluation approach includes:

  • Manual accessibility testing against applicable WCAG success criteria.
  • Automated accessibility scans to identify potential issues.
  • Keyboard only navigation and focus management testing.
  • Screen reader testing with supported assistive technologies.
  • Browser zoom, text resizing and other relevant accessibility checks.
  • User testing with people with disabilities for features that cannot be fully evaluated through automated tools or assistive technology testing.
  • Internal reviews and external accessibility evaluations.

Testing findings are documented and used to inform remediation activities and future improvements.

Ongoing Improvements and Training

We are committed to improving accessibility through ongoing evaluation, development and maintenance of our digital products and services.

We review identified accessibility issues, prioritise improvements and incorporate fixes into updates as appropriate. Accessibility considerations are also incorporated into relevant development and quality assurance activities.

We encourage organisations using our products and services to follow accessibility best practices when creating content, publishing documents and configuring their digital environments.

Third Party Content and Customer Provided Content

The accessibility of the digital platform may depend on content and documents supplied by the organisation operating the platform or by third parties.

We work to provide an accessible platform. However, documents, images, embedded content and other materials supplied by customers or external providers may introduce additional accessibility barriers.

Organisations using our products and services should review the accessibility of their own content and provide accessible alternatives where necessary.

Reporting Accessibility Issues

We welcome feedback about the accessibility of our digital products and services.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us using the details below:

Please describe the issue you encountered, the page or feature where it occurred and, if possible, the assistive technology or browser you were using. This information can help us investigate and address the issue.

Where an issue relates to the underlying platform, Blitzz will assess it and determine appropriate next steps. Issues relating to customer provided content or organisation-specific arrangements may need to be addressed by the organisation responsible for that content.

Accessibility Requirements and Compliance

The accessibility requirements applicable to our products and services may vary depending on the organisation using them and the jurisdiction in which it operates.

Organisations using our platform should identify and include the accessibility legislation, regulations and standards applicable to their services. They should also provide any required compliance status, enforcement procedure and information about non-accessible content in their published accessibility statements.

Blitzz can provide relevant technical information about the platform and available accessibility assessment findings to support this process. To request this information, please contact us.
