My name is Ron Reed, and I've been a technical support advisor for a little more than thirty years. The last year, though, has been the best year of all because of Blitzz. Prior to Blitzz, I was advising people based only on what I could picture in my head. It's been a great career, but Blitzz has made my job so much easier. One other tidbit before I jump into the full testimonial: our company has multiplied the number of Blitzz licenses we use by four times. That's how successful we've been with it.

Before I give my full testimonial, I want to talk about why not just use FaceTime, because I feel like it comes to mind when people think of Blitzz. It's not a good fit. One, it's iPhone only, so Android users are out of luck. Two, I have to use my cell phone, so now my customers have my personal number. The phone screen shows way too much of me. I spend more time trying to get somebody to find the back camera button than I do assisting them with the issue they called about. There's no on-screen pointer, so I'm still left describing things. It just wasn't created as a support app.

Here's how I discovered Blitzz. I was working on my home thermostat and managed to completely break it, so now I had no heat. I contacted Honeywell for support, and it was one of the best support experiences I've ever had. They sent me a text message. I clicked the link. I clicked Allow. They guided me downstairs to my furnace, to a device I'd never noticed before, had me point the camera at it, and right there on my screen was an arrow pointing to the button I needed to press and hold. I pressed it, and the heater kicked on. As soon as I had that experience, I started looking for the same type of solution. The one Honeywell used turned out to be very expensive, so I researched several similar vendors. Blitzz is fantastic and priced to sell. As soon as I found Blitzz, I knew I'd found a platform our company would eagerly afford.

Now, how many calls I've resolved using Blitzz. Not every call requires it; a lot of issues are cut and dry. With that said, my total number of Blitzz calls that year was 762. The average was 11.6 minutes per call. For seasoned support leaders, 11.6 might sound a little long, but keep in mind I'm using Blitzz for the tricky stuff, not the low-hanging fruit. The stuff that used to take me twenty minutes now takes 11.6 minutes on average. In total I logged 147 hours on Blitzz last year.

How satisfied am I? On a scale of one to ten, Blitzz goes to eleven. The greatest benefit is that it makes my job simpler, faster, and vastly improves my accuracy. Customer reaction is one hundred percent impressed. It really is night and day. Customers often ask, "Hey, can we do that camera thingy?" if they've done it with us before.

The features I use most: the pointer. I can move my mouse and show you, right on your phone screen, exactly what I need you to look at. I can take a photo of that area, and the date and time are automatically part of the photo. Those photos are saved to the case, and I can download them, email them, and use them however I want. Markup is another fantastic feature. I can take a photo and draw arrows or a box around the exact button a customer needs to press. And by far the coolest feature is how easy it is to use. They haven't cluttered it with needless stuff.

In summary, I love Blitzz. It actually makes the job fun, and it makes me love my job more. The greatest testimonial is that toward the end of our first year, our company expanded our licenses by four times. Our whole company is invested in the success Blitzz has given us.

Reduce truck rolls and improve first-call resolution with visual remote support

“It saves us time and money because we're not sending out techs in the field for something that's really simple.”

Tim McGindyService Manager, North America, Robot Coupe USA · 2:35

Key takeaways

  • Blitzz became the service team's go-to tool, used multiple times a day by every technician.
  • Avoids dispatching field technicians for issues that can be solved over live video.
  • Uses real-time video, snapshots, annotations and a live pointer with end users, technicians, reps and dealers across the US and Canada.

Hey, I'm Tim McGindy with Robot Coupe USA. I'm the service manager for North America. Our company is based in France, where we produce commercial kitchen equipment, specifically food processors. We've been the world leader in food processors since the beginning. I manage the staff who field calls about our products, and we talk to end users, technicians, reps and dealers all across the US and Canada.

My first experience with Blitzz was actually as a consumer. I was having an issue with my smoker. I called the company, they asked if they could text me a link, and within a few minutes there was live video with the technician and we solved my issue very quickly. When I was later speaking with Alex about using Blitzz at Robot Coupe, I realized I had already used it as a consumer. That positive experience was probably the tipping point in my decision to go with Blitzz.

Getting Blitzz up and running was very easy, thanks to Rudy and his team, and it immediately became our go-to tool. We use it every day, probably multiple times a day for each of my techs. It really saves us time and money, because we're not sending out technicians for an issue we can solve with the Blitzz application. It's real-time video with the customer. We can take snapshots, make notations, and use a real-time pointer. It helps us a lot with ease of use and problem solving.

Blitzz saves us time and money because we're not sending techs into the field for something simple that we wouldn't be able to solve without live video. If you're looking for something like this, I'd recommend giving it a try. You won't be disappointed. We've been very happy with it, and we're going to be long-term customers with Blitzz.

Hello, my name is JJ, and I'm the Senior Customer Experience Manager for Moby. At Moby we provide internet, phone and TV for residential customers as well as commercial businesses, including enterprise solutions.

One of the major challenges in our customer experience team was the number of times we had to dispatch technicians to site. So I reached out to Blitzz, and they provided a wonderful video solution for video troubleshooting. Over the last two quarters, we've seen a good drop in the number of times we send technicians to site.

One of the things I love about Blitzz is how easy the tool is to use. The user interface is amazing. It takes about sixty to ninety seconds to onboard my team members and get them comfortable with the tool.

  • Customers join from a link with no app download and share their phone camera instantly.
  • Live video helps troubleshoot installations and plumbing questions faster.
  • Fewer callbacks and quicker resolution for customers.

Hello, my name is Matthew with Clean Water Store, and I've been here roughly eight to nine years. In that time I've served in customer service and technical support roles, assisting customers with questions about installations and our products.

In my technical support role, I use Blitzz to help troubleshoot systems and answer questions customers have about their plumbing. Blitzz is extremely easy to use. I can send a link directly to the customer that they click on, so there's no app to download, which makes the whole experience easy for the customer. They can instantly start sharing their phone camera with us, and I can get eyes on the situation and help them better.

This prevents callbacks and allows us to reach a quicker resolution for the customer. It's a win-win for everybody. I love it, I use it on a continual basis, and I plan to keep using it. We love it here, and I would highly recommend it.

Remote quality inspections without travel for the national HERS Index body

“The photo is actually being taken with the device in the field, so we're getting clear and crisp photos every time.”

Ryan MooreQuality Investigations Project Manager, RESNET · 4:50

Key takeaways

  • Replaced costly travel for field ride-along inspections of home energy raters.
  • Automatic recording removes the risk of forgetting to hit record.
  • Full-resolution photos captured on the field device, auto-labeled with Bookmarks.
  • Reliable video in low-bandwidth locations and customizable reports in Word format.

Hi, my name is Ryan Moore, and I'm the Quality Investigations Project Manager for RESNET, the Residential Energy Services Network. We are a national nonprofit that oversees the Home Energy Rating System, or HERS Index, which is kind of like miles per gallon for your home. Our oversight role involves ride-alongs with home energy raters in the field as they verify components and do performance testing of homes. We spot check to make sure they're working according to the established standards.

Before Blitzz, our choices were to fly out to a location and do the ride-along in person, or to remote in with meeting software like Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. Travel is obviously very expensive, and meeting software was not ideal for our use case. Then along came Blitzz, and it was a major improvement in our operations.

There are several features we use regularly. Number one is automatic recording, which prevents somebody from forgetting to hit the record button. The video quality has been great, even in low-bandwidth situations. We take a ton of photos during our inspections, and the fact that I can take a photo from my end while the photo is actually captured by the device in the field means we get clear, crisp photos every time. That sure beats a blurry screenshot from meeting software. We also use Bookmarks extensively, which automatically labels all of our photos and saves us a ton of time down the line. Finally, the Reports function produces a report in Word format, which is perfect for us because it's fully customizable.

In summary, we love Blitzz. It's been a major improvement for us, streamlined operations and made things a lot easier. I think you should do a free trial and check it out for yourself.

Two-hour remote new-home demonstrations that hold up in low-signal homes

“When there are dropouts, we're able to quickly get back on with the customer. No other system was good enough for that scenario.”

Alex PitcherBusiness Operations Manager, Elevana Limited (UK) · 3:15

Key takeaways

  • Chose Blitzz over a shortlist of alternatives when renewing their previous remote demo system.
  • Handles weak cell signal and dropouts on new housing developments.
  • Uses WhatsApp invites, call recording, on-screen pointer, user management, collab profiles and invite templates.
  • Quick setup, easy training and a responsive team across time zones. Already renewed.

Hello, my name is Alex Pitcher, and I'm the business operations manager at Elevana Limited. We provide new home demonstrations to home buyers in the UK. These appointments take two hours and are very detailed, so home buyers can confidently operate and maintain everything in their new home.

We always used to do home demonstrations face to face, but COVID had other ideas. Since then most clients have gone back to face to face, but many loved our remote service and stuck with it. During COVID we made some snap decisions, tried and failed with quite a few systems, and settled on one that was good enough but that we never truly loved. When our renewal came up, we started searching and built a shortlist. Well into that process, our MD said, "Hey, you should check out Blitzz." I actually rolled my eyes a little, because I'd already had lots of exploration calls, but I'm so glad I took the time to speak with Alex and Rudy at Blitzz. They blew all the other options out of the water.

Blitzz not only offered the core solution we needed, but all the other features that come as standard have let us vastly improve our internal processes and provide a better service to our clients' customers, for remote demos and for follow-up support calls with customers we've already seen face to face. It was quick and effortless to set up. The settings were easy to understand, so we could launch and train people seamlessly. Rudy and the team have always been quick to respond, even with the time difference.

One of our biggest challenges is that in new homes on new housing developments, mobile signal isn't always the best. Blitzz handles these situations really well. When there are dropouts, which are almost inevitable when we're walking through a water tank in a dark cupboard, we're able to quickly get back on with the customer. No other system was good enough for that scenario. We also love the ability to use WhatsApp, record calls, use the on-screen pointer, user management, collab profiles and invite templates. All of these let us do what we do better, easier and stress-free.

I'm so pleased we went with Blitzz. It works so well that I never have to worry about it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blitzz to anyone. We've already renewed, and I have no reason to believe we won't continue using it for years to come.

Hey, good evening. This is Oscar. I want to take a moment to share my personal experience with an app I've been using in my home improvement and project management business, and the name is Blitzz.

Before I get into the details, a big shout-out to the Blitzz team. You've done a great job putting all these features in one spot without unnecessary navigation, which is a waste of time. What I want to highlight is that you can use all those features without having to stop what you're doing.

I use the application for installations, refinishing, and walkthroughs with clients, coworkers, crew members and assistants, all in one spot. You can even add people to a meeting without stopping the meeting. You can snap pictures, take videos, see all the descriptions at the top of the page, and use the search bars on the side. Thank you again, Blitzz. Keep doing it this way.

Questions.

What is Blitzz?

Blitzz is a remote visual assistance and inspection platform. Support agents, inspectors and project teams send a link, the customer or field worker opens it on their phone with no app download, and both sides share live video with tools like an on-screen pointer, photo capture, markup, recording and reports.

How do companies use Blitzz?

The customers on this page use Blitzz for remote technical support and troubleshooting (Robot Coupe USA, Moby, Visionix, Clean Water Store), remote quality inspections (RESNET), remote new-home demonstrations (Elevana) and project management with crews and clients (Toscano Floor Designs).

What results do Blitzz customers report?

In these videos, customers describe fewer technician dispatches and truck rolls, fewer callbacks, and less travel for inspections. Visionix's Ron Reed reports handling 762 Blitzz calls in a year with complex calls dropping from about 20 minutes to 11.6 minutes on average, and his company expanded its licenses four times over.

Does the customer need to download an app?

No. Customers join a Blitzz session from a link sent by text message or WhatsApp and share their camera from the browser, as Clean Water Store and Visionix describe in their videos.
